TEMECULA WEEKEND TRAVEL GUIDE

Craving the perfect weekend getaway? There’s a lesser-known SoCal gem that’s begging to be visited... Temecula! With more than 40 wineries, you can spend days on end exploring and wine tasting among the vineyards. There’s a vineyard to suit everyone! Not a big wine drinker? You won't get tired of exploring the irresistible charm, picturesque views and incredible cuisine Temecula has to offer as well. For a bird's eye perspective of the valley there are private hot air balloon rides available at sunrise and sunset. If you want to step back in time, the whimsical, historical features of old town Temecula is the place to do it. Below are a few things we did on our recent trip!

1. WINE TASTING!

WINERIES WE VISITED AND LOVED:

Ponte Winery

Robert Renzoni Vineyards

Fazeli Cellars Winery

2. SHOP OLD TOWN!

From shopping to dining, this place has it all. I absolutely loved puttering in all of the beautiful antique & vintage shops.

3. EAT!

Romantic Spots:

The Restaurant at Ponte

Trattoria Toscana

The Vineyard Rose at South Coast Winery

Casual dining with a great atmosphere:

Gourmet Italia- Late night comfort food!

The Goat & Vine- Quick bites and small plates!

Public House- Contemporary gastropub

4. HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE!

Sight-see in style! This is hands down the ultimate way to take in all of Temecula's stunning views.

5. GET A MASSAGE/ PAMPER YOURSELF!

After an amazing day of wine tasting why not unwind? The hotel was super accommodating and arranged a romantic couples massage for us in our room!

Hope this guide helps you make the most of your two-day trip to Temecula and inspires your next weekend getaway!
